Veronica Mars

I am OFFICIALLY addicted to Veronica Mars! One of THE BEST T.V. shows I've ever watched...SO. ADDICTED.

Plot: After her best friend is murdered and her father is removed as county sheriff, Veronica Mars dedicates her life to cracking the toughest mysteries in the affluent town of Neptune.

So...basically, it's mystery and crime and all that good stuff. Picture Nancy Drew...but Veronica has more sass, best sarcasm in the world, and the show leans more towards the PG-13 side. Can be inappropriate, but hey, if you want a realistic show about teenagers...mmm, yup, the fast forward button it always needed.

Ok, favorite quote time!!!

Meg: You believe me, right?
Veronica: You are the last good person here at Neptune High. I believe cartoon birds braided your hair this morning.

Van Clemmons: Mr. Echolls, I was wondering if I could have a word?
Logan: Anthropomorphic.

Jackson Douglas: I hear you do detective stuff for people.
Veronica: I do favors for friends.
Jackson Douglas: I can pay.
Veronica: Sit down, friend.

Trina: Will you just hear me out, please? My boyfriend Dylan spotted me some cash a few months ago and now he's bugging me about it. I can't get him off my back.
Logan: Did you try standing up?

Keith: Didn't he get busted for murder?
Veronica: Assault.
Keith: See? He's not even a very good murderer.

Veronica: I hope we're still friends after I taser you.

Veronica: You prank-called Mandy?
Lenny: What if I did?
Veronica: Well, I want to congratulate you. Shake your hand. Congratulations! You've been named the world's biggest cockroach. This award is given in recognition in your unparalleled lack of decency and humanity. Bravo. You're going to die friendless and alone.
Lenny: Hey, everyone knows you're the biggest...
Veronica: Shut up! If I want you to speak, I'll wave a Snausage in front of your nose. You use Mandy again to convince yourself you're not a loser, I will ruin your life. Got it?

LOVE that last one, the sarcasm was PERFECT.

How embarrassing...

...so Mr. Jim called to let me know that he'll be here in 3o minutes to drop off the hamster, and he just needed directions to the house. So I amazed myself at giving fairly good directions and I ended with telling him that our house is the blue one on the right.

I took a shower and then I went outside...our house is WHITE. WOW RACHEL. So I had to call him back and apologize for my color blindedness...or forgetfulness or whatever it's called. :P

Best Dream EVA

Ahhh...Rachel Dreamland last night was SOOOO good...mmm...

I could FLY. It was AMAZING! It started out where I was with this other family and we were in like these snowmobiles or something like that and we were TOTALLY going over the speed limit, we were having a race to see who could get to the North Pole first. So the youngest kid won (didn't know names...hmm...oh well), so we just kinda sat up there for a little while and then all of a sudden the youngest kid (it was a guy) jumped on his snowmobile (I dunno if that's the right term...it looked like a racecar...except it was built for snow...I don't even know if that's REAL), so then me and some of the other teenagers climbed into ours and RACED after them! We ended up at Six Flags and we got out of the snowmobile thingies and FLEW. Like around the track, and through the loopholes and all that good stuff. IT WAS BEYAWESOM. Haha, I'd type out the rest of the dream but sometimes writing it down just makes it seems really bizarre. So I'll just end with: I went SUPER FAST on the snowmobile thingies, and I FLEW. I WAS AMAZING. ;D

Ergh!

You know what I HATE?

I hate it when you're in the shower and you're shaving your legs and your mind is somewhere TOTALLY different than the razor and all of a sudden you cut yourself, jump, the razor goes flying, and you fall down into the tub. YEAH. Then you gotta get the razor, FINISH that leg...and then shave the other leg, with the constant reminder of pain and the trickle...well, no, it wasn't a trickle...the FLOOD of blood going down your leg...ERGH.

And it wasn't even like a TINY cut, it was like THE WHOLE RAZOR. The cut's about an inch and a half long and I have three blades in the razor so you can clearly see three lines of cuts and nicks...grrr...

Well, other than that, my day was pretty good.

Almost finished German homework, talked to some people, realized some more things...I think God's teaching me my lesson the very hard way with all this. :P

And then we had marching band. It was inside of course cause of the rain...but I thought it went well. I'm really liking the music and there's a few spots in each piece that I get a little break, so I'm happy about that.

AND OMWORD MEAGHAN SOUNDED SO GOOD TONIGHT. It was like....WOOOOOOOW. The tone that girl has...MMMMMMMM.

"The world needs a little more...Kyle Y." HAHA! I found that funny. :]

Oh, and then one time we were about to play at letter U and so we all started listing U words and Elise (LOVE HER) said, "You are really getting on my nerves with all these U words" and I laughed cause it was funny, and then I realized...OH. YOU. AS IN U. SO IT'S ANOTHER U WORD. So then I laughed even HARDER, and Mr. O. kinda thought I was a little silly. :P

Oh well, it was a good night, and I got a hug, which made me uber uber uber uber (I need a better word than uber...) happy. :D

Semantics

Stupid semantics...

se·man·tics

NOUN: (used with a sing. or pl. verb)
The study or science of meaning in language.
The meaning or the interpretation of a word, sentence, or other language form: We're basically agreed; let's not quibble over semantics.

And yup...I'm afraid of what I don't understand. And I don't understand a lot lately. And when I get scared, I RUN.

Perfect example of semantics below. ;D

GRRRRR

A pot of water NEVER boils if you're staring at it...

GRRRRRRR.

Idiot

Hah, you know it's kinda funny...even when someone tells me I'm being an idiot I won't listen. I guess I'm one of those people who have to go through the pain to finally learn the lesson, I gotta learn it the hard way...
