Pandora and Hairspray
"You Can't Stop The Beat" is on...and Sanya's behind me dancing like crazy...but when I just slightly turned my head she stopped, but I just pretended I couldn't see her and she kept going. I can see her reflected in the screen though. ;D
Alien Abduction Insurance
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Alien_abduction_insurance
The policy says that if you can prove that you've been abducted by aliens, you get an insurance payout. I dunno whether to be more concerned about the fact that there's ACTUAL insurance for ALIENS, or the fact that if you're abducted by aliens...how would you be able to prove it? Wouldn't you be gone? Hmm...
Get this though...there have been people who have filed claims before, and...THERE HAVE BEEN PAYMENTS. AT LEAST TWO. How insane...
Some of the policies cover alien impregnation, alien examination, and death caused by aliens. Haha, the best part is that the alien impregnation insurance is available to MEN as well as women. :P
Thank you genius who created this insurance. I can now sleep better at night knowing that if I wake up with diamond shaped bruises, which would be microchip implants no doubt, I will be able to pay for medical attention. Or if I need to raise an alien baby, I know my baby will get a comfortable upbringing and access to a good education.
Yaaaay...education! ;D
"Find A Guy Who Calls You Beautiful"
who calls you back when you hang up on him,
Who will lie under the stars and listen to your heartbeat,
or will stay awake just to watch you sleep…
Wait for the boy who kisses your forehead,
who wants to show you off to the world when you are in sweats,
Who holds your hand in front of his friends,
who thinks you’re just as pretty without makeup on.
One who is constantly reminding you of how much he cares and how lucky his is to have you…
The one who turns to his friends and says,“That’s her!”
Found him. :]
Great News!!!!
First off, Menzel Confirmed for 2010 Episodes of "Glee": Wicked Tony Award winner Idina Menzel will fly into the Golden Globe-nominated series "Glee," the Associated Press reports.
And second, Kenny Ortega Will Direct In the Heights Film: Kenny Ortega, who directed the hit "High School Musical" films and choreographed "Newsies" and "Dirty Dancing," will direct Universal's film version of the Tony Award-winning musical In the Heights, Variety reported.
In The Heights is gonna be a movie!!!!!!! WOOT!!!! And what's also really cool is that the guy who wrote it and played Usnavi in the original Broadway production is gonna be Usnavi in the movie, THANK GOODNESS.
And guess what? On January 23rd, me, Dad, Josh, and Sanya are all going to see In The Heights on Broadway in New York City!!! I am SO excited. That was the big Christmas present this year. I feel bad for mom cause she doesn't like it so she won't come, so I think me and her should have a day together to make up for it...we've both been so busy lately we haven't really gotten to just hang out. Haha, yes, I hang out with my mom. :]
Currently I'm babysitting, and it's working out pretty well. I can be on the computer cause they have a computer in the basement that I'm allowed on and everyone's down here so I can keep an eye on everyone this way too. So it all works!!! ;D
Flute Lesson?
When I came downstairs this morning she was practicing and she does this weird thing where it's like...she doesn't blow air through the flute, she blows the word, "Too!!!!!!" Like she's not blowing air...she's literally speaking words, you hear her voice. I've talked to her about this before but apparently she didn't listen or doesn't really know what I mean when I tell her just air.
So this morning I came downstairs she's doing it again and I tell her again...don't use your voice, just use air. And she gave me the NASTIEST LOOK IN THE WORLD. It made me laugh...but then lo and behold, she started using air!!! Well...a bit. Haha.

Thoughts Time
If someone says something is wrong...should you automatically listen to that? Should you believe it? Or should you make your own opinions?
What if the person is someone you really respect? So you know you're doing wrong in THEIR eyes, but what if it's not wrong in your OWN eyes? Is THAT wrong?
Gah...
Well anyway, merry Christmas everybody. I know I may sound like I'm upset, but don't worry, I'm not. I've had an AMAZING day with the family. It's so nice being all together. We played our new family game today (so much fun!) and watched movies together, and then we had a tickle fight!!! I lost...as usual...I can't remember Daddy's tickle spot. :(
Our long long LONG time family friends came over last night for Christmas Eve, it's a tradition. And in that tradition...we got a NEW tradition. And I LOVE it. The tradition...after you burp, you have to sing a note. I'll demonstrate sometime. ;D
So last night was great, and today's been fantastic, just some thoughts running through my head.
Sidenote: DK gave me one of his sweatshirts for Christmas...smells just like him...I have been thoroughly enjoying it. ;D

The SAVE button...
I just caught myself clicking it over and over again and it made me laugh...so I thought I'd post, cause Word is having some technical difficulties right now.
Yes...the save button is indeed my friend. I click it a LOT. I mean a LOT a lot. I click it normal times...when people are supposed to click it, like after I've finished a huge paragraph or when I'm all done, but I also click it a lot in between. Like...I'll finish a sentence, and click it maybe five times...but I don't really realize it. I just go up and click save a couple times...maybe I like the clicking noise of the mouse? I dunno. And then also, if I'm stuck and I can't think of anyting...I'll hit the space bar to start a new sentence, and then I'll click the save button. I do that ALL THE TIME...even though it makes no sense to save just a space.
I'm an oddball. But one thing is fo' sho'...me and the save button? We're tight yo'. WORD.
"Bedtime Stories"
So originally the plan was that DK was gonna come over and spend the day playing in the snow with me, Josh, and Sanya. But that didn't exactly work out, so what ended up happening was that I ate lunch with dad, got to talk to him for awhile (it was really nice), and then the DK mobile picked me up and we (meaning DK's dad, freshman hobo of a brother Andrew, DK, and me) went to go see Avatar.
IT WAS SO GOOD. I LOVED IT. IT WAS AMAZING.
Such a good movie...SO INTENSE (I think DK and I killed each other's hands), but SO good. It made me really emotional too. Like...I didn't cry, it wasn't a crying movie. It was a me-getting-steaming-angry-movie. I was LEGIT mad at about two parts in the movie, I was HAPPY HAPPY when the commander finally died. Great movie.
Then afterwards I went back to DK's house and there was the coolest little contraption on the table! It was like...two wooden circular tiers, and on the inside were shepherds that were on a platform that rotated, and on the bottom part there were wise men that rotated. And get this...there were candles around the whole thing, and when you lit the candles...THE STUFF ROTATED. Fascinated me for awhile. ;D
Ate some dinner, grabbed "Bedtime Stories", and went downstairs. It turned out to be very different than what I was expecting, like it COMPLETELY exceeded my expectations. No IDEA it was gonna be that good. It surprised me though, cause it wasn't just completely a comedy, sure there were some funny parts, but that wasn't all of it. It was amazing.
Then I went home and me and mom watched the Survivor Finale upstairs in her bed. I fell asleep up there with her, which was kinda fun. I woke up at two in the morning and couldn't get back asleep for like an hour...but it was a good sleep. And then two-hour delay!! Which I used to sleep some more...haha.
Ok, wow, too long of a post, I gotta go do homework. I got rhythm, terms, a math worksheet, studying for math, German translations, studying for science, and checkpoint questions. Yaaaaay...sports!

Why did I ever grow up?
I went over to DK's around 11 and we got to decorate gingerbread men with his mom and some of the girls from her Sunday School class. I made a Santa Claus one and DK...had fun figuring out how to work the icing bottle thing. That made me smile. :]
I got to stay at his house until about three, and then we had to leave...I was kinda disappointed, well actually really disappointed. I was secretly wishing that I could stay really late...but it's ok, cause the time we did have together was great and the day turned out to be really good.
When I got home I kinda just collapsed on the couch. I was still a little upset and just needed some time to be a couch celery. So I was sitting on the couch and Sanya came up and asked (very politely...gotta love her) if I wanted to go outside in the snow and play with her. I said no...I was too lazy to get up. So she got on her coat, snowpants, boots, gloves, and hat and went outside to the backyard to play by herself...
About ten minutes later, I went up to the window to check how she was doing, mostly wondering where she was, and I saw her playing...by herself, and I just felt HORRIBLE. I felt like the meanest sister in the world. I had given up a chance to play with my baby sister so I could sit on my big butt and watch STUPID tv. How PATHETIC is that?
So I marched myself upstairs, squeezed on three layers of pants (I don't own snowpants), grabbed a sweater, sweatshirt, got my jacket on, found random gloves, yanked a hat over my head, and ran outside to play with her. Best decision of my life.
We had the BEST time. Josh was using our sled over at the neighbors and so we borrowed a neighbors sled just to use in our backyard. Our yard has like NO slope to it at all, so instead, we just pulled each other around by the rope attached to the sled. It may not sound like much...but it was great.
Then we got to lay down in the snow and TALK, when was the last time I really talked to my sister? I've been way too busy to talk to a lot of people...it's sad. So we laid in the snow, freezing to death, and watched the snowflakes fall from the sky.
After awhile, we headed over to the neighbors and I decided to stay outside and sled at their house (they have a big hill) even though Sanya wanted to go inside. So I stayed out for like 20 minutes...and then headed in. Inside waiting for me, was a cup of hot cocoa and three games laid out on the coffee table in the living room. She told me I could pick whichever game I wanted...I felt so incredibly special. You have to understand that my sister likes everything to be in control...very organized...very planned out...she likes to be the one that decides everything and makes all the choices, so it was huge that she was letting me pick...at least I thought so.
So I sat at the coffee table, with my hot cocoa topped with whipped cream (I did that part), and played Mancalla (sp?) and then Quoridor (sp?). Two great games that I can't spell for my life.
Later after dinner, mom asked us to go outside and shovel the part of the driveway around the car, in case we need to get out tomorrow. Honestly...I really didn't feel like it. I had already been outside and I really wanted to just sit down and start some homework cause I wanted DK to come over tomorrow (which is actually TODAY cause it's 12:09 right now) and for that to happen homework had to be done. But for some reason I decided to go out and shovel...again, best decision ever.
We all got bundled out, went out and shoveled for about 15 minutes (it wasn't that bad), and then as we were bringing the shovels around back, I had the sudden urge to tackle Josh...so I did! The next 30 minutes that followed included wrestling in the snow, running away screaming like our heads were chopped off, making snow angels, throwing snow at each other, dragging the sled around, and playing two games that we kinda just randomly made up on the spot.
Sidenote: Those two random games were made with you in mind, DK. There's one where it's gonna be like guys against the girls wrestling sort of thing...Sanya's decided she wants to wrestle you, haha (my sister has a crush on my boyfriend...it's ADORABLE), and then the other game involves pulling the sled around and once again, Sanya's like, "I can't wait until DK does this...I'm gonna go SO FAST!!!!!" So yeah. Tomorrow better work out cause all three of us are looking forward to it. ;D
AnyWHAT (remember that post? haha!), it was a ton of fun...we haven't played all together in a long time and it was really great.
After I came inside I got some homework done (LINC cards), but then I got distracted and laid down on the couch and watched TV. I saw "Mamma Mia!" for the second time, and cried...again (do NOT ask how I cry while watching "Mamma Mia!", it's just one of those things) and then I saw "Marley & Me" for the first time and I cried. So...big crying night, but it was like the good kind of crying...if that makes sense. ;D
MLIA
Today, I rear ended another car and the person I hit happened to be a midget. The guy got out his car and walked to my window, looked up and said, “I am not happy.” I wish I had the courage to say, “Then which one are you?” Instead I just apologized. MLIA
Today, me and my best friend made a pact, that on each of our weddings, we'd stand up, say: I'd like to make a toast, take out a toaster, put it on the table, wait for the toast to pop up, and sit down casually. I can't wait. MLIA (Someone better do that for my wedding! ;D)
Today I asked a french bloke if he played video games. He said Wii. MLIA.
Today, I realized that Bob the Tomato and Larry the Cucumber, the two main characters in Veggie Tales, are fruits. MLIA
Today, I was short 50 cents for a bus ride home to see my family for Thanksgiving. Dejected, I turned to go sit on the curb. An elderly homeless man dug into his pockets and gave me the 50 cents I needed to get home but demanded that I had to give him five. Confused, I told him that I did not have that kind of money. He smiled broadly, grabbed hold of my wrist and then slapped me five before running across the street. MLIA
Today, I was working at my store and a customer was frantically searching for something. Her English wasn't great and she kept saying "Chicken Balls, Chicken Balls". We searched the entire store to find small meat balls made of chicken until we finally realized she meant eggs... MLIA
I was sitting on a couch watching TV with my dad and an ad for New Moon came on. Right after Edward says "This will be the last time you see me." My dad shouts "Well thank god for that!" at the TV. I just gained more respect for him. MLIA

My mom's arm
So my mom's first grade class went on a field trip today to the high school, and she has a new student (who barely understands/speaks English) and he wanted to touch everything, so my mom held his hand through most of the hallways and stuff, but he was pulling away from my mom a lot (she was holding his hand with her right hand...the REALLY bad arm...) and there was a couple of times when he yanked her arm and so she would have to physically restrain him while he's kicking and dropping his dead weight on her, all while her arm is going through extreme pain.
When they got back to the school, she went to the nurse, gets Tylenol and an ice pack, and then goes to the teacher room for something. Well the teachers see, start asking questions, she explains, word gets to the principal (who knows about mom's condition with her arm, it was bad last year) and the principal SUSPENDS THE FIRST GRADER and sends my mom home. Like gives her no option, she HAD to go home. And she is in SO much pain...like if she sits and doesn't move her ENTIRE ARM she's ok, if she moves her shoulder just a bit, or like slouches or ANYTHING she almost starts crying. It is SO bad...
Pray for the kid's parents too...they also know very little English, and they have trouble controlling him but they feel bad and are just apologizing so much...I feel so bad for them...
Just pray for the whole situation. We're hoping that he gets moved out of the school to a "behavioral classroom" or something like that...we think something's wrong developmentally or something like that.

I'm the big bad wolf???
My body's emotions are just screwy lately. Like...EVERY STINKIN LITTLE THING is getting under my skin. Like things that don't even matter, are majorally ticking me off, which puts me in a bad mood, and when I'm in a bad mood, the bad sarcasm comes out, and when the bad sarcasm comes out people end up taking everything I say seriously and it gets me into trouble cause other people get hurt. So you know what I've realized? I've realized that when I'm upset, I should just keep my big mouth shut or people need to learn that they can't listen to anything I say. They have to know that I don't legit mean it, that it's just me fuming in one moment. But I betcha ten minutes later, I'd be fine.
So anyway...on with the day...it was ok. Nothing like TOO bad...just not a good day. And here's the funny thing, I dunno if I could even tell you WHY it wasn't good, it just wasn't. So don't ask why. Hah...can you tell I'm back into that bad mood phase? Maybe you should just quit reading this post now, I say stupid things that I majorally regret when I get upset.
I dunno, I just feel like I'm messing up a lot lately, but like I'm not even realizing that I'm 'messing up', if that makes any sense. Like I'll do something that I think is totally fine, but it gets someone else really riled up and then they get all upset with me and I feel like I'm constantly proving myself or explaining myself or just SOMETHING like that...I dunno, I can't think.
Oh, another thing, I feel like I'm getting in trouble for being ME. Like...I'll act a certain way or something or say something and then someone else will say something and I won't agree and then they're like shocked or something that I'm not siding with them like I 'always' do. And then I become the big bad wolf because I disagreed with them over something puny.
You know...Sanya had a huge meltdown tonight over something really little, but once she started getting upset she got REALLY upset and EVERYTHING just poured out. And I was talking to mom, and she said she doesn't think it's the little thing that got her upset, it's our whole stressful family situation emotions coming out. Like on the surface...Sanya's been doing ok, but I'm positive she isn't. I bet it's the same with me right now...I just thought about that. Like everything that's annoying/frustrating me is so LITTLE, and I KNOW that, but it's not helping...I just have so many stupid emotions to deal with that they're all coming out at the wrong people and at the wrong time but no one quite gets that so I get into even more trouble for being upset. I don't know if that made any sense, but whatever.
I just...feel so alone sometimes.
ANWAY, I digress...tonight we had our Winter Concert and it was pretty good, kept my mind off of things and I actually had a really great time. I hadn't thought stuff was bugging me as much as it's been or whatever, but apparently it was cause DK commented that I seemed off tonight or something...
I want to have happy days again...I've been having lots of little happy moments, but overall bad days...
I wanna be a little girl again...I want my daddy to be able to hold me in his arms and whisper in my ear that everything is gonna be all right...you know what, I don't even care if he doesn't tell me things are gonna be ok...I just want my daddy...

I'll Stand By You
Tears are in your eyes
Come on and come to me now.
Don't be ashamed to cry, let me see you through
Cause I've seen the dark side too.
When the night falls on you, you don't know what to do,
Nothing you confess could make me love you less
I'll stand by you,
I'll stand by you, won't let nobody hurt you,
I'll stand by you.
So, if you're mad get mad, don't hold it all inside,
Come on and talk to me now.
And hey, what you got to hide?
I get angry too
But I'm alot like you.
When you're standing at the crossroads, don't know which path to choose,
Let me come along, cause even if your wrong
I'll stand by you,
I'll stand by you, won't let nobody hurt you,
I'll stand by you.
Take me into your darkest hour, and I'll never desert you.
I'll stand by you.
And when, when the night falls on you baby, you're feeling all alone,
You won't be on your own, I'll stand by you."
Wish I could make things better for you, I love you.

O Tannenbaum!!!
Mom put up our lights (we went multi-colored this year, I think I actually prefer plain white though) Friday morning before she went up to New York with her best friend. Haha, quick sidenote: she went up with her friend to go to like an Irish rock concert and she came home and both of them were just like excited teenage girls! They came in the door giggling and laughing at numerous inside jokes, and then asked me to take their picture...which we did for like five minutes straight cause they had to get their hair right, or the hat was tilted the wrong way, or the smile wasn't good enough, or SOMETHING. It was HYSTERICAL. Then my mom was Irish "jigging" around the house for awhile, which was a SIGHT. She was actually pretty good, it was just really funny. ;D
End sidenote.
So we got all our ornaments out from the shed and started decorating! All three kids like "called" a section of the tree. Our grandparents buy us a special ornament every year that goes with a theme. Like Sanya's are all from a granddaughter collection, Josh has different kinds of firetrucks (like not plastic...REALLY cool old classic firetrucks), and I have all Dr. Seuss ornaments and Christmas Visitors. We each got our section and started decorating. I am SO SLOW...everything has to be just right, and I re-organized stuff like a bagillion times!!! But I'm happy with it now. :]
Each of us also have trains from like our first Christmases (is that a WORD??? it looks odd...). Haha, there's one picture of me where I look MISERABLE. And apparently that's how I look in half my baby pictures. My parents have told me that I was an extremely happy child...but everyone at church always thought I was upset cause I never smiled in front of other people...things have certainly changed...haha. So in the picture I'm in this angel costume in front of a 'manger' set-up, and I'm just miserable...it's SO funny.
We had lots of fun tonight decorating, it was really nice. I love our Tannenbaum. We have SO many ornaments that you always notice something different. Haha, did I mention I have a Timon and Pumba ornament?? I put it front and center this year. :D
Yaaaaaay Tannenbaum!!!!!!
Lyrics Mash of the Day
I'm tripping on words
You've got my head spinning
I don't know where to go from here
Can you hear me?
Does anyone around me
Feel the way that I feel now?
Cause from the window where I sometimes cry
I just want to see Your face tonight
And I'm willing to lose everything I am
I'll be by your side
Wherever you fall
In the dead of night
Whenever you call
And please don't fight
These hands that are holding you
My hands are holding you
Make a promise to me now,
Reassure my heart somehow,
That the love that I feel,
is so much more real than anything
Hear/Here ye continued!!!
So my big news!!! This is HUGE...
ALL MY HOMEWORK WAS FINISHED TODAY BEFORE 3.
Everything...FIN, ENDE, COMPLETO (that's my Spanish for ya...), it is ALL DONE.
Very proud of myself. ;D
And on top of homework being done, my room is semi-clean and all my chores for the weekend are done too.
So to reward myself I played ZooTycoon today, on the Freeform version where you can give yourself like an insane amount of money and you have as much land as you could possibly want. That was fun. Then Josh and I played Brawl...that was not so fun. Well, I mean it WAS...but he beat me. He whooped me. Bad. I won like...once, against a computer player when we were during Tournament. But I bet they were on level 3...
Oh well.
Hear ye!
Oh shoot, dinner's ready. Well I will do the LEGIT post later.

COOLIO
HOW COOLIO IS THAT??? ;D
Same EXACT page, Jenny. EXACT.
Donuts For Dinner!
We did it once before, when Jenny was over at our house, and so now it's huge big joke when someone asks for donuts for dinner, so tonight my little sister asked and what do you know? We're having donuts for dinner!!!! :]
Oops...I lied, a little more than two minutes. Well this gives me more time to post. Yaaaay sports!!! :]
Ok, vent time...I MISS MY BLOG. :( :( :( :(
So much homework in high school...and honestly? WHAT'S THE POINT? High school is just when we're trying to figure out what we wanna do for college, and then the rest of our lives. So...during those four years where we "discover ourselves", they have to do SOMETHING with us so we don't go crazy and do drugs and have sex all the time and break laws (which people do anyways...HMMMMMM) and so they put us in schools. BRILLIANT. And on top of that...LET'S GIVE THEM FOUR HOURS OF HOMEWORK A NIGHT.
Haha, don't get me wrong, I actually like school...I just get a WEE bit riled up about all the homework.
Ok, donut time, I'll post later! I pinky-promise!!!! ;D

Good night.
Talked to Shep.
Talked to Cara.
Read Jenny's blog post...really enjoyed/needed it, thanks.
Overall...it was a good night.

Cheese
This post is titled cheese because it is me and DK's 6-monthiversary. I'll explain.
Over the course of these six months...A LOT has happened, but through the A LOT, I have come to one very mind-exploding realization: it's possible...slightly possible...I'm considering the fact that...I very well just MIGHT love DK more than I love cheese. *this is the part where your heart gives out and you fall to the floor*
I KNOW!!!! I know it's a big deal to say that...but it may be true. Maybe... ;D
I also wanted to post to show this:

Yupp. Cheese and bathroom concerts. Enjoy. :]

Complaints Cont.
Complaint #4: I miss DK...a lot.
Complaint #5: I hate when people lure me into a feeling of false security, and then in just one moment, my world completely crumbles.
Complaint #6: I wish I didn't complain so much.
Complaint #7: There's not enough chocolate in the world to make me feel better right now.
I feel rotten. Physically and emotionally right now. I just need this day to be DONE.
I am SO SICK of reality right now...I wish I could live in a movie theater, life seems so much easier when you watch other people's drama and their happy endings.
Complaints
Complaint #1: Bella should have ended up with Jacob. They are SO good for each other. Bella should have kissed him right before the phone rang, then gone and saved Edward (just to be nice cause she's not gonna hate the guy), but then once she saved him she should have just walked away and gone back to Jake. He's the best friend she's ever had and she has SO much more fun with him...ugh.
Complaint #2: I have to go eat dinner right now so I'll have to finish this post up later...

Oddity of the Day
So I got home...
End of story, that's it! Haha, just kidding...
So I got home...and of course, without having marching band, homework doesn't have to be done by any certain time, so I just procrastinated away this afternoon! Last night I was watching a TV show, it ended, and then I flipped to another channel and the show "Glee" was on. Let me tell you...it was the WEIRDEST episode of anything I have EVER SEEN. Like...it wasn't BAD...just...BIZARRE. Going to school I was asking people and they were like, yeah, it was a weird episode...BUT WATCH THE OTHERS! THEY ARE SO GOOD!!!
Curious little me did just that. I got home, manipulated my internet, and got free episodes of "Glee". I LOVE IT. The storyline can be a bit unoriginal/sappy/soap opera-ish at times, but hey, everyone loves a bit of sappy soap sometimes. But the music? *faints* Just...AMAZING. Some of the members of the cast have been on Broadway. BROADWAY. The talent is just so HUGE and the songs (which are basically popular pop songs rewritten for a glee club) are just like POW!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I REALLY need to be doing my homework right now but I gotta find a link to show you...
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uBq1IfcX-nE
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9VY0a1vZYyY&feature=related
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=X44b9RTtkAs&feature=PlayList&p=209A1CDA6B3306CB&index=8
There's a little taste, now go and listen! ;D
Ok, so I watched episodes, listened to the songs, and then of course...went and played piano, DUH. ;D Haha, so I'm banging out Wicked, changing some keys here and there, messing around and having fun with my voice, trying out different stuff, and all that jazz. Just so much FUN. If you don't know already...piano is like my best friend/counselor. I go to it when I'm upset and then I slam out a song and feel MUCHO better, or I just go to it when I wanna have a good time. I was having a BLAST, SO HAPPY.
And then...I went to dinner, got pulled back into reality, and realized...oh FLOWERS, I have an insane load of homework...
So...within like...say 10 minutes, I went from being ecstatically happy to being so upset about homework. MOST BIZARRE TEN MINUTES EVA.
And no, it's not that time of month. ;D
I'm in a much better mood now due to listening to music while doing math homework...but I'm off to start my AP essay and if I listen to music while typing usually the lyrics end up in what I'm writing (HAHA! Cara :P), so no music for me.... *big sigh*
So that was my oddity of the day.

Kit-kat bars are AMAZINGUH...
The marching band season is over (moment of silence)...
...
....
...
...and I'm STILL insanely busy! How does that work? OMWORD---I was just about to analyze my time spent in marching band along with the amount of homework assigned compared to the time I have since marching band is over compared to the amount of homework I've receieved recently and then determine the factors that have influenced my status of "insanely busy". I am dead serious. Those AP Human Geography labs are starting to wear off on me...SHEESH.
Ok, back to NORMALITY...well, ish. ;D
I have a few funny stories from today but I'll give a quick overview of highlights during the past week:
-Saturday, went to DK's house for like...the WHOLE day :] (I still can't get over it...6000?!??! Something has to be messed up...I don't think it's 26, it's probably more like...6 or something...then it'd be like 1800...that's still insane... :P)
-Monday, changed seats in German class. OH MYLANTA. So now I seat behind Zane (pencil stealer) and in front of Andre (backpack stealer)...it's like I'm in a warzone. They gang up on me ALL the time and it's HORRIBLE. So now, whenever I walk into class (I've learned this very fast), I sit down in my seat, put my leg through one of my backpack straps, get out my pencil, put it in my mouth, take out my homework, set it on the desk, watch it incredibly closely, take pencil out of mouth and grip for dear life for 45 minutes. Every day there's a new adventure...oh, and I got chalk put down my shirt today too, THAT was fun. :P
-Tuesday, at the lunch table Jordan made a HILARIOUS comment...so I'm sitting there across from him, and next to me is...well, it wouldn't be nice to give a name, so the NoName. NoName is going off about...STUFF and it was just driving me CARAZY, like EXTREMELY ANNOYED CRAZY...so I looked over at Jordan (who had glanced over at me) and started making all kinds of faces (rolling eyes, mocking, *blah blah blah*, etc.) and he started CRACKING UP (silently of course), oh and my hair was down that day so NoName wasn't seeing any of this. After awhile of bolth of us silently laughing our heads off, he says, "I wish I had long hair..." and I just about DIED. It was SO FUNNY. And I was so proud of Jordan, he made a very funny comment without it being inappropriate (what is it with these freshmen?). ;D
-Tuesday night, went to DK's house again (I'm so spoiled...I get to see him so much :D). Haha, we were downstairs watching a movie, and the movie ended and all this black fuzz stuff came up on the screen and the TV was spazzing so I was kinda randomly asked, "What in the world is the TV doing?" and TOTALLY nonchalantly he replied, "Farting." I DIED. Oh and then we got into a stubborn contest and he ended up tickling me and WOULD NOT STOP and I was laughing/screaming (so says DK...haha, I'm too loud for him ;D) and it was SO BAD that Emily (his little sister) came downstairs to find out what was going on. Aaahh...good times...
Ok, story time for today!
Well the first one isn't a good story. I got a D. On a science test. I am not a happy camper. I'm not even a happy person about it. I STUDIED FOR TWO STINKIN' HOURS FOR THE STUPID TEST. There's only one word to describe how I feel about this...
FLOWERS
*big sigh*
Ok, MOVING ON TO MUCH BETTER THINGS!
The dinner table tonight was HYSTERICAL. We were quoting movies all OVER THE PLACE, I literally went straight from Chitty Chitty Bang Bang ("Cheat! Cheat! Cheat!") to The Princess Bride ("And while you're at it, why don't you give me a nice paper cut and pour lemon juice on it?") and then In The Heights ("A little off the top, a little off the side..."). They all worked together and tied in perfectly to what we were talking about...trust me. ;D
And THEN. WE SANG. Well...me, dad, and mom. And not really SANG...we just...acted out a song that was from a video I watched when I was like...THREE. Oh goodness...by the time we got to "orange carrot" we were all cracking up and slapping the table...
HAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHA. OK. AND THEN. So mom tells a really silly joke, "Why did the cranberry blush? Because it saw the salad DRESSING" and then I'm like, "Oh! I heard a funny joke today! But it's bad..." and Dad says, "Well then you probably shouldn't say it at the table" and then Mom pipes up and says, "Well I wanna hear it!" and Dad and I just turn slowly and LOOK AT HER. And she's just like, "What did I do????" and then she finally realizes...I meant bad as in inappropriate...she thought I meant like it wasn't a good joke...it was FUNNY.
One last quick story cause then Josh has to get on for homework!
So mom asked me to look in her ear cause it was itching or something like that, and I made a weird face, and she's like, "Well at least I didn't ask you to smell my FEET!!!" and I made an even WEIRDER face (..."yo' face!" ;D) and then...mom stood up (IN THE MIDDLE OF DINNER) took off her shoe, and started chasing me with it. We ran around the table like twice, then I ran upstairs, back down, hid behind dad, and finally sat down again. IT WAS GREAT.
Ok, I really gotta go now, few last sidenotes:
I miss you too, INSANELY MUCH.
Kit-kit bars are AMAZINGUH. ;D

Correction
And Jenny...I miss you, AGAIN. :P
Remember the conversation about how people apologize for crying and wanna hide it and all that? Well I almost did that last night...but then I remembered what you had said, and so I kinda let it all out and broke down at youth group. It was good...I needed to just get it out.

What do you do with a 6'5" trophy? ;D
This is SO unbelievable, I can't even explain how it feels. We got first...with a 97.350!!!!!!
97.350
The trophy is like...6 foot 5 inches or SOMETHING like that, it is HUGE. We had to slide it onto the bus from the back and then it was sideways, haha!
So we won...and I cried. A lot. Everyone else was pretty much screaming their heads off (well I was doing that too) and then some were tearing up, and then others (...ME) were LEGIT crying. Best moment EVER. So insanely happy and just...HAPPY. Like that happiness where you don't know what to do and you just feel like you're gonna EXPLODE. Yeah...that. ;D
All the bands we passed on the way out stopped and clapped for us and congratulated us and it was just so cool...I'm so proud of everyone.
AND THEN. ON THE BUS RIDE HOME. WE GOT A POLICE/FIRETRUCK ESCORT.
When we were like 10 minutes from the school, a firetruck pulls out in front of the bus and then with it comes a police car and then two other firetrucks following us. IT WAS AMAZING. We got ESCORTED through town! They had that cool thingy where when we got to a light they pushed a button and it turned green for us. :]
Then when we got back to the high school parents were waiving signs and pom-poms and balloons and as we got off the bus we all got huge cheers. And then we all got balloons too, hehe. :]
I am so happy right now...haha, trust me, this ENTIRE post would be in caps...but I don't think caps quite covers how ecstatic I am.
WE WON.
USSBA NATIONAL CHAMPIONS.
I am SO happy it's Ewic's birthday... ;D
NATIONALS!!!!!!!!!!!!!
It's NATIONALS TODAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Last night was our last practice EVER...and it was pretty good. :] Some funny band parent stuff, but best part was that...
- We had a good run through.
- And my mommy and Josh and Sanya came to watch!!! YAAAAAAAAAY FAMILY!
It was a pretty fun night, which was followed by some laundry at home, and then sleep! IT WAS SO CUTE. MY kitty cat (Mr. Grumpty) came up to sleep on the bunk bed with me (it's so much fun watching him climb up the steps) but I was already laying down, so he just PFLOPPED (hey...that looks like a German word...sidenote: I HATE GERMAN) down on my feet---I had foot warmers for the night. :] Haha, it was funny.
Ok, plan for the day...
- Go text marching band buddies to make sure they're awake.
- Shower.
- Go to school.
- Run-through on lot (at 6 in the morning! OH YEAH!)<--that's actual excitement, I'm not being sarcastic, I am very much so a morning person. :]
- Load onto bus.
- SLEEP.
- Arrive, unload, warm up, yada yoda...
- BEST PERFORMANCE OF MY LIFE.
- Food. ;D
It's gonna be an AWESOM day!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Best part is...well there's two best parts: no school!!!!!!! and 3 hour bus ride!!!!!!! ;D

Happy 5-month!
I'd find someone
I never dreamt
It'd be like this
You've surpassed
All that I've hoped for (and ever wished)
And I'm tryin'
So hard
With all my heart and mind
To make your life
As good as you've made mine"
:]= (Larry! HEHE!)
It's 11:11...haha. ;D

Don't tell me...
But UNFORTUNATELY...this is just gonna be really short again but I have to post it cause it was hysterical...
Ok, so tonight we were talking about communication and how kinetic communication is the best kind (which is from a leadership movie a few of us watched back in May), and so Mr. O. says the next line in the movie, "Don't tell me you're a good kisser...SHOW ME!" and it was SO awkward but SO hysterical!!!
So the rest of the night...don't tell me you wanna hold my hand...SHOW ME! Ah my goodness...fun stuff...oh yeah, we had a parade tonight if you didn't know. Yupp. Wasn't too bad. It was aight.
I had a really fun night though, DK and I had created our idealistic world (I'll have to post about that sometime...hum...) and we sang Les Mis the entire night...haha! So much fun!!! :]

Yaaaaaay sports.
Waking up uber early tomorrow morning...yaaaaaay sports.
1 year friendaversary!!!
The End. (DK told me to write that...haha)
I would promise to write soon but I have no idea when I'll actually have some free time...so uh, I'm doing pretty good, some fun stuff has happened (first date!) that I'll try to remember to blog about, and marching band is going amazingly WELL. ;D
So speaking of marching band...gotta go shower and and get stuff together for the competition today.
Woah...we're going to UM today...that's where like the real 'friendship' with me, DK, and Shep all clicked...it's our one year friendaversary!!! ;D

Sick...
I'm not sick like BLEGH *tossing cookies* sick, but I'm sick...it's rather complicated, so I'm just gonna say I'm sick, that okeydokey with you? Good. Glad we could have this discussion. :]
Oh meh goodness I'm having a discussion with myself...on the internet...that's like as bad as when you talk to yourself on AIM...which yes, I have done...
It's been a nicht so gut day. I didn't go to school if you didn't realize...yeah, so I'm stuck at home, and since I'm home, that means I'm missing the pep rally (WHICH IS GOING ON RIGHT NOW) and I'm gonna miss the homecoming football game...kinda disappointing. But I kinda had to stay home...ugh.
I was ok and all with staying home and dealing with being sick, but now guess what I found out...? Ok you'll probably never guess so I should just tell you...there's a big chance I might not be able to go to Homecoming tomorrow night. I KNOW. HORRIBLE. It all depends on stuff...but right now it isn't looking too great. Oh I am gonna be SO MAD if I don't get to wear that dress...haha, if I can't go I betcha I'll still wear the dress around the house Saturday night. ;D
But I'm really hoping that won't have to happen...PLEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEASE!
...I love how there are a bagillion E's there and only one of all the other letters...
Ok I gotta go do something with myself, I'm going insane!

"Married"
- "Married"
Oh SNAP I can't remember now...oh well, I'll remember later and then update or something.
Sidenote to Hannah: Haha, yes I know EXACTLY what you mean cause I do that! Like I've done that even before you mentioned it, just kinda push out the jaw under the ear, I COMPLETELY get what you're saying. That's kinda funny. ;D

Wish it was 24 hours ago
My day today wasn't too bad. Woke up at 9:30, stayed in bed until like 10:15 just thinking and daydreaming, you know how that works. ;D Ate breakfast with the youngins, played Skippo, found out that Josh basically has the whole song "Party In the USA" memorized (odd...), took care of my farm on facebook (my dad made fun of me tonight cause of it... :P), then showered and went to the high school to make decorations for homecoming. That was pretty aight. The most fun I had was sliding down the ramps with DK. :] I had my shoes off so I was just in socks so we would go down the HUGE ramp and he'd like sprint and pull me along with him and I'd be holding on his arm just completely SLIDING down the ramp and then we'd turn and keep sliding, it was so MUCH FUN. We were cracking up. :]
Then I went to an ortho appointment, told them about my jaw issues cause mom wanted me to---it was the perfect timing, I told him, he told me to open my mouth really wide, it only went so far, told me to open it wider, and it like SNAPPED. He flinched, said "Uh oh..." and then scribbled for awhile on a piece of paper. So I gotta go back to the uber soft diet (no gum...), heat compresses, and alieve...woot woot.
But after that...I WENT SHOPPING FOR HOMECOMING DRESSES!!!!!!!!
We went to Macy's first, found one that was ok...but meh, so we decided to go to JCPenny's. Found a bunch to try on, and in the end it came down to two that were REALLY different. I think we stood there debating, trying on, taking off, trying on again, for a good 15 minutes before deciding. I'm really happy with the one I got though, it's a burgundy color...and that's all I'm saying cause I know DK reads this blog and he's not allowed to know anything else about the dress. ;D
Okey dokey...more homework...huzzah...
Not happy with tonight...not quite as perfect as yesterday...yesterday was DA BEST. So much fun with DK. :] :] :]

10/11/09
Not enough time to type it all out but here's the highlights of my long story short day:
Played in orchestra this morning at church (improvised with Aaron!)
Went to Wendy's (SAW JAKE, AHAHAHHAHAHAHAHA!)
"Be The Church" at New Life, that was really fun
Inside jokes... (that'll have its own category later ;D)
Chili!!!!
Played Apples to Apples and Yahtze (I GOT THREE YAHTZE'S IN YAHTZE!!!!!!!!!)
Sidenote: I actually made a summary SHORT...WOW...
Ok, inside jokes...WOW...too many...don't think I can remember them all? DK tell me if I forget one...
- Sqeeze hand thing (from Mr. O....haha!)
- "I too..." (ALSO from Mr. O....teehee!)
- HERSHEY!!!
- A bit... ;D
- Meat grinder...GRRRRRRR...ok, this one deserves the story. SO. Me and DK were at the after-picnic of Be The Church, and they were serving this really yummy chili. Well...we had finished our food and everything and were just standing around in the lot just talking and I look over and I see what I THINK is like this huge machine thingy with this brown gunky stuff coming out of it? I had NO IDEA what it was! So I asked DK...he said it was a meat grinder, where they were grinding the meat for the chili. THIS MADE TOTAL SENSE TO ME. So I kinda laughed and then said I thought it was like an ant farm or something and we just kinda teased back and forth about it for awhile. Like...15 MINUTES LATER. We're standing a little closer to the meat grinder and I look closely and I'm like, "...wait a minute! That's not MEAT, it's WOOD. The guy's carving something!!!" And DK just looks at me and he's like, "DUH." I thought he was serious about the whole meat grinding thing...it made perfect sense to me...but no...I am going to be teased about that for eternity...
- MEAGHAN D. I don't know how to explain this one...basically, he's cheating on me with her. They have a 'fling' together every Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday night and all day Saturday. Ok I should explain...DK and Meaghan (she plays mello) have a duet together in the Intro of our show, and we've been working on the intro a lot lately, so they'll have to go off together to work on it or stand together during a run-through inside. So the first time we played it in a run through we were outside in an arch around the pit and when we're arched DK stands next to me (:D :D :D). But just before we start, DK raises his hand and asks Mr. O. if he can go stand next to Meaghan. Mr. O. glances at me and then says, "Well only if it's ok with Rachel" so it's kinda now this ongoing joke and it was just SO hysterical on Sunday...like everything was either, "Oh, so did you tell that to Meaghan too? Would Meaghan do this for you?" and just stuff like that. HI-LAR-I-OUS.
- DK's mom told me I have a big butt...well, not really...it was a hysterically funny misunderstanding.
- SUNBURN...self-explanatory, I burn SO easily it's not even funny...ok mehbe a little. ;D
- "Sorry to HEAR that..."
- Who's a genius?
- Handshake right into thumb wrestling
I'm sure there's a ton I'm forgetting but that's all my tired out brain can think of right now.

Skillet...
It's not like "Oh I hate Skillet" but like...I put my iTunes library on shuffle and if one of their songs come up I usually skip it cause of...well, reasons I think only one other person understands, maybe two.
"Say Goodbye" just came on...I forgot how good it is...it's funny, every time I listen to it there's a different meaning in it, but always the memories of what it's meant to me in the past. Amazing how music can completely control how you think and feel about something...

"Hold My Heart"
I gotta go eat dinner like NOW, so I don't have time to find the link, but look it up!!!
"Hold My Heart" by Tenth Avenue North
How long must I pray, must I pray to You?
How long must I wait, must I wait for You?
How long 'til I see Your face, see You shining through?
I'm on my knees, begging You to notice me.
I'm on my knees, Father will You turn to me?
One tear in the driving rain,
One voice in a sea of pain
Could the maker of the stars
Hear the sound of my breaking heart?
One life, that's all I am
Right now I can barely stand
If You're everything You say You are
Would You come close and hold my heart
I've been so afraid, afraid to close my eyes
So much can slip away before I say goodbye.
But if there's no other way, I'm done asking why.
I'm on my knees, begging
You to turn to meI'm on my knees,
Father will You run to me?
One tear in the driving rain,
One voice in a sea of pain
Could the maker of the stars
Hear the sound of my breaking heart?
One life, that's all I am
Right now I can barely stand
If You're everything You say You are
Would You come close and hold my heart.
So many questions without answers,
Your promises remain
I can't see but I'll take my chances to hear
You call my name
To hear You call my name
One tear in the driving rain,
One voice in a sea of pain
Could the maker of the stars
Hear the sound of my breaking heart?
One life, that's all I am
Right now I can barely stand
If You're everything You say You are
Won't You come close and hold my heart.
Hold my heart, could you hold my heart?
Hold my heart.
ALLENTOWN
Yeah...I haven't been just ignoring my blog or anything, our computer got sicko and had to go out of towno to get fixedo. It was gone for like...TWO WEEKS. Talk about frustration...
So anyway...IT'S BACK. HUZZAH. The only bad news...THEY DIDN'T FIX THE PORTS. So that iPod that I lost for three months and then I found and then I hooked up to the computer and then crashed and haven't been able to use for another three months? Yup, that's STILL not fixedo. Not happy.
I gotta go to church soon, but I figured I should post just cause I haven't in such a long time.
Wow...so much has happened. I don't think I wanna do quick summaries of all of it...do I? Well...er...no. It'd be way too long. So um...here's my uber quick summary:
In the past two weeks there's been some good stuff and some bad stuff. THE END.
Wow...that was quick. If only I could take showers that fast...
Mmmm...yeah I'm in a weird mood...went to bed at like 1 in the morning? Yeah marching band competition!!! :] AT ALLENTOWN. I am in love with that field...and the pierogies? OH...so good...
I SAW SOUDERTON!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Oh I was so happy...beyond happy...beyond ectastic...uh...what's after that? I dunno, I was just REALLY happy. I saw them marching out after their show and I started SCREAMING names but I got in trouble for that...uh oh. :P
So then we're sitting in the stands watching bands and I keep checking the side hill for a huge blob of red and I don't see them! Then FINALLY they come up!!! I was like hopping up and down...you guys should have seen me. ;D
Then Hannah, Danny, and Jeffrey come up into the stands with us and I like NEEDED to get up and give them hugs but I couldn't move until the end of the performance (which was only 10 seconds more but STILL). Oh so happy...mmm mmm MMM. Then we got up and could walk around and they were all there!!! Wow it's been a long time...
So that was great, put me in a really good mood. :]
Got my food, went back to the stands, and had a great night sitting with DK and talking about bands and just having a good time. I had an AWESOM night. :D
Sidenote: bus ride home was good. ;D
Off to church now! I'm assuming we're not picking DK up...he hasn't texted me back yet...poor guy, he was EXHAUSTED last night...
Ok, time to go!!!

Pop It, Lock It... ;D
But then the afternoon practice stank...you could tell Mr. O. was not pleased, I wasn't happy either. Some people in the band just have no MOTIVATION, and others just don't a good attitude, yeah they're at practice, but they give off the impression like they don't want to be there, and then their sour mood brings everyone else down and next thing you know you have like 20 stinky rehearsals in a row...YEAH.
So frustrating...like today, we were doing 16 block and we were doing really bad at one of the tempos, so Mr. O. said it was the last time, we repped it, it STANK, and so he's like, "Who wants to do it again?" and you hear me, DK, and a few other people say "Yeah" and everyone else practically shout "No!" And then Mr. O. says, "You have the choice to improve and make yourselves better or to accept that last rep. What do you want to do?" and STILL some people said no. That irked me SO MUCH.
It was a relief when practice was done...the afternoon was horrible---I think the highlight of my afternoon was when I got grass in Shep's mouth. ;D
Then I went to DK's house!!!!!! Well, it wasn't that simple to get to his house...but I'll spare all the boring details about how DK FORGOT TO TELL ME WE WERE GOING UP A STEEP HILL. ;D
Sidenote: I can take faster showers than DK. SO HAH.
We went out to the trampoline and talked and then we had to move inside due to little children who actually wanted to jump on the trampoline but our legs were too tired. :P
We had some really good conversations...REALLY good. Lots of stuff about marching band, like what I was saying before, lacking the motivation and energy and just not having the internal drive to be...BEYAWESOM.
Then dinner...YUMMY. Buttered bread (ALWAYS AMAZINGUH), mashed potatoes with the skin (I thought I wouldn't like them...BUT MMM MMM MMM), pork (YUM), and applesauce (we thought of you Cara ;D).
Then we went back outside but nOOoooOOOOoooOOOO, DK was too COLD. ;D Silly boy was only in shorts and a sweatshirt but I had my sweatpants and my big comfy sweatshirt which I love incredibly much.
Sidenote: "I can't handle the heat!" ;D
Sidenote of a sidenote: I guess this is really just a post that DK will get...sorry, lots of inside jokes. :]
It was a good night. :D
And now I should head to bed...big day tomorrow: church (9-10), car wash (11-4), homework (5-infinite), Solomon's Porch (infinite-9).
Sidenote: I made DK listen to the two songs I bought, it was great! HAHA!!! I also made him listen to the Hoedown Throwdown...

The pop song is "Party in the U.S.A." by Miley Cyrus.
IT'S STUCK IN MY HEAD.
"I got my hands up, they're playing my song. I know I'm gonna be okay. Yeah, it's a party in the USA!"
P. S. DK's the best. :]
Country and Pop...HAHA!
So anyway, I've decided that I wanna learn how to play a brass instrument, really badly. I brought it up with my parents last night, but they basically said no. I got SO mad. My mom can't understand why I want to learn a brass instrument and my dad says that if I'm gonna learn any new instrument it should be another woodwind instrument so I can "expand my repertoire". So then I said, isn't learning a brass instrument expanding my repertoire? And he mentioned something that if I wanna ever perform professionally it'd be better if I knew all woodwinds, and I said I would most likely become a high school band teacher, and he said that I'd learn brass in college and I don't have to worry about it now.
???
Worry? I'm not worried, this is something I WANT to do...
So those two songs this morning are my cheery-uppers. ;D
But you can't guess what the two songs are...

Random Cake?
Tonight was SO much fun!!!! Ok, so we're all sitting at the table eating dinner and then mom and dad had to go to their meeting and so it was just us three kids at home eating dinner...and listening to "In the Heights". OH YEAH. So I start going crazy at dinner, doing hair flips and all that fun stuff, and we clear the dishes and then me and Sanya just go INSANE and dance around the ENTIRE HOUSE. It was at that part on the CD where it was crazy fast 6 minute songs and it was just so much FUN. We were jumping up and down and I was picking her up and swinging her around and we were doing the SILLIEST things but it was SO MUCH FUN.
Ahhh...well, I gotta go finish my LINCs cards now, but guess what?!??!?! I FOUND OUT HOW TO GET SIRIUS RADIO ON THE INTERNET. It's only free for seven days, but it's so cool to listen to!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :D :D :D
Happy night for me!

Apostrophe of Apostrophes
So yesterday was my apostrophe of all apostrophes day. It was so GOOD. DK came over after church (which took my sister forever to figure out...it was hysterical, eventually she just believed me when I said he was flying over on his magic broomstick ;D), we played a game of Life (he won, I should REALLY stop letting him win this much... :P), and then we went out for a walk.
Yesterday was GORGEOUS. The weather was like PERFECT. A little more wind would have been cool (HAHA, get it? ;D) but it was all good. We walked the HUGE loop ("So how long is it?"/...this long." HAHA), and then we sat on the swings and just TALKED (and swang...of course). How long were we out there? Like 2 1/2 hours? So probably on the swings for like two hours or maybe a little less. But it was good, REALLY good.
Haha, we were walking and I said something like, "I expected you to have a spreadsheet" and at the same exact time I said that he pulls a piece of paper out of his pocket, I CRACKED UP.
So...yeah, really great day, lots of thinking, lots of apostrophes, lots of good stuff.

MLIA
Time to post my favorites...
Today, I had to turn a paper in for science. When I turned it in to my teacher, he asked where the appendix of my paper was. I said that my paper was sick a few years ago and had to get it removed. He gave me an A-. MLIA
Today, my friend and I were watching the President's address on youtube. When it got towards the end, my friend let out a huge sneeze. The President looked out to the audience and said "God bless you." Behold the power of Obama. MLIA
Today in order to make my math teacher look good she taught us a trick that when the principal walks in and she asks a question if we know the answer we raise our right hand and if we don't know the answer we raise our left hand. No wonder administrators think Honors classes are smart. MLIA
Today, I got in trouble for calling my little brother a moron. When he asked what a moron was, I told him it was someone who didn't wear enough clothes and needed to put "more on". He proceeded to take off his pants and run around screaming "I'm a moron". I love my brother. MLIA
Today, I had a one question test. The second part of a question said "defend your answer". A kid in my class got full credit because he drew 300 spartans around the first part of his answer. MLIA.
Today, in English class a kid fell asleep. Within the next 2 minutes my entire class was standing outside in the hall, the lights in the class were turned out and the clock in the room was changed to 7:00 o'clock. The kid woke up and freaked out. This was my most productive English class ever. MLIA
Today I gave a telemarketers phone number to another telemarketer. I feel like I've brought some justice to the universe. MLIA
Today, my parents informed me that from age 3 to 4, I would only respond to the name Peter Pan. I was a lot cooler for that one year. MLIA
Today, I asked my youngest brother what he wanted to be when he grew up. He said he wanted to be a snowman. I support him 100%. MLIA.
Today, I took my sister to a park so she could run her 5K. The guy in charge told the people to feel free to shout something when the starting gun went off (i.e. "Freedom", "Charge" etc.). One boy pumped his fist in the air and shouted, "FOR NARNIA!". It made my Labor Day Weekend. MLIA.
Today, my girlfriend and I went on a love-checker site. We entered our names and got an 85%, and our friend's names got a 45%. Then we entered Simba and Nala, and they got a 100%. I'm glad this site knows true love when it sees it. MLIA.
Today, I took a dose of medicine. After taking it I realized I was supposed to shake it first and I immediately started to worry. I then proceeded to dance and shake my stomach. I felt much better. MLIA

Exhausted
I'm not even mad at anyone or upset about anything. Well, I mean, there's stuff that I'm upset about, but all of it isn't really bugging me right now. I'm just...exhausted. This week...this STUPID week.
I am emotionally and physically drained...
And something's about to push me over...like I got on Facebook and I went to Farmville and one of my crops was dead cause I wasn't on in time to harvest it and I almost broke down. How STUPID is that? It's not even that time of the month! I mean, I'm just at that POINT where the littlest thing is gonna just tear me apart.
I'm exhausted...totally and completely exhausted.

*moan*
He needs to come home NOW. RIGHT NOW. I will not take no for an answer!
Why does tomorrow have to be so far away??? *moan*
Schedule for tomorrow...wake up, wait impatiently, shower, wait impatiently, eat breakfast, wait impatienty, finish math homework, wait impatiently, bake brownies for him and cookies for me, wait impatiently...key word here: IMPATIENT.
I KNEW I shouldn't have procrastinated on that time machine and transporter...
DK you need to come home soon....................................
"Ra-Ra's stripping down so I can too..."
So last time I posted was...Thursday! Okeydokes, there's been a Friday and a Saturday and a today that I'll try to catch up on real quick.
Friday: FIRST FOOTBALL GAME!!!!!!!! We had to get to the school really early so we could practice little parts of the show, do REALLY fast sectionals, and then we had to figure out how to get on and off the field, and getting the doctor beats from Sam and all that good stuff. Practice was going ok (MUCH better than Thursday night...WORST PRACTICE EVA), and then afterwards we had about an hour to chill before we had to be in uniform and ready to march out to the field. Elise wasn't feeling good again (she had to leave...poor girl, don't understand half of what's going on but I feel bad for her) and so I was sitting with her and all of a sudden she just kinda looked up at me and she's like, "You miss DK." And I kinda blinked and then said, "...yup. How'd you know?" and she just shrugged. But it was true, I've missed him a lot this weekend. He's called a few times (scheduled to call again at 4:26, HAHAHAHA) but it's hard to talk when he calls cause he's always on the bus and IT'S SO LOUD, I CANNOT FOCUS OR TALK OR ANYTHING, rather difficult to have conversations when I'm constantly distracted).
So anyway, I changed into my uniform in the back (oh! funny story! ish...I was starting to change so I took my shirt off and Jamie comes into the backroom and she's like, "Should I just change back here? Oh ok, Ra-Ra's stripping down so I can too." and then pulls her pants down. It was HILARIOUS. At least I thought so. ;D) and then we all lined up (Soo-Jin is my two! YESSSS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!) and marched out to the stadium.
I LOVE the new arrangement of seating in the stands. Last year it was woodwinds all in one row, and then trumpets and mellos behind us, and then low voices behind them. THIS year it's trumpets, woodwinds, and mellos in a row (behind the battery) and then everyone else in the row behind us. This way I get to sit next to DK the whole game. :] :] :]
So the game. Me and Julia had SO much fun people watching! It seems like every single teenager that comes to the game only comes to walk around in circles and look for people of the opposite gender to hang out/make out with. If you come to a football game, WATCH THE FOOTBALL GAME. I got SO into the game, Meaghan kept laughing when I yelled at the players or the ref...there was this one AMAZING play though, where the quarterback of our team threw the ball towards two guys and from the stands we could clearly see who caught it but the other guy right next to him PRETENDED that he caught it and started to run one way and EVERYONE FOLLOWED HIM where the guy who actually HAD the ball gained a LOT of yards before anyone figured it out. It was AWESOM.
Then at halftime we performed! It actually went pretty good for me, I had a good show. There's stuff I know I can work on, but it felt good. Overall it was an ok performance, here's the link:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3rarEdXZydQ&feature=channel_page
So yeah. There you go. First performance. The band is in SUCH a better spot than we were last year at this time.
Sidenote: I'm eating my icky yummy brownie thing and watching the video again and I just realized I'm chewing in time...WOW...
Saturday: Dad left for China. :''''( But thankfully he's only gone for a week this time so he'll be home soon. :] After he left mom dropped off Josh and Sanya at a friend's house, I went and got my haircut, and then mom and I had a mother-daughter day. Went shopping for about three or four hours and then went out to lunch at Applebee's and it was just a really great day. We talked SO much about SO much different stuff. I loved it. :D
Today: Church, DK's grandparents came up and talked to me for a little bit, it was kinda funny, then we went to Staples and got some school stuff, and I've been doing school work ever since. Trying to figure out stupid websites and all the crazy links and all the work I have to do for it. I only have to read an article today and then part of the book but there's stuff due on Wednesday I have to do now cause I'm staying after school Tuesday for MB and I don't want to have to do too much work after school. Then I have to do a huge math thingy that Cara said took awhile...BLEGH.
There's my update. Gotta go do homework now...
Oh! Good news though! DK's coming over tomorrow once he gets home. :] :] :]

WHY??? ;D
Why does he have to be so SMART? And he's usually almost always right too...WHY??? ;D
It's like a math equation...
Oh, random sidenote: does it bother anyone else when they have to write/type the word assembly? Or assistant? You know...you gotta write a bad word first...whenever I'm typing or writing I slowly write the first three letters and then I write the next one as fast as I possibly can. It bugs me.
I digress. ;D
So I guess I'll actually talk about my day today, I'm in a better mood.
Got off the bus, and it was like the PERFECT timing, cause as soon as I stepped off DK was coming down the sidewalk, so we found each other pretty easy this morning. :]
Went to HR, went down to the Counseling Center and dropped off my form, went to band...and I'm actually gonna complain about band. It's a LOT of people...I liked the smaller class, I really did. It's like double the size of last year, and I loved my class last year. So many people...we basically just filled out a form and typed our email onto a computer, woot. And I still haven't decided if I want to do bari or alto...GAH.
I was late to second period today, science. I have to go from one corner of the first floor to the opposite corner of the third floor---YIKES. I always get out late from band...but there was an assembly today so it was uber crowded so I hope I make it to class on time next Tuesday. I had lab today (which was actually FUN, I ENJOYED SCIENCE CLASS, A FIRST), so I was there two periods.
Then I went to lunch...ate good food, had two brownies (friend's birthday), then went to study hall where...*drum roll please*...I SAW DK!!!!!! He was there for period 4/5 and I was there for period 5/6, and they have a fifteen minute overlap. So I got to sit next to him and talk to him for fifteen minutes. Made me very happy. :D
I had English next with the crazy teacher who got married, divorced, pregnant, THEN engaged, and then married again (to the father of the pre-engaged baby) all in one summer. Oh yeah. YIKES. But I like her (even though DK and Shep hated her), and class was pretty fun. Me and Cara had a moment...we had to take this evaluating quizzy thingy and we got done like ten minutes early so I glanced over to the opposite side of the room and there was Cara just like STARING at her desk and I tried to get her attention (the room was dead quiet) but nothing was working so I just kinda stared at her and finally she looked up and we both had to like "stifle" (weird word...haha! WEIRD) laughing. So then for the next five minutes we were talking in our secret language and trying not to crack up. We had to stop looking at each other eventually, we couldn't handle it. ;D
Then math, but that's ninth and that's when we had the assembly (awkward word...). During it me and Cara were talking about last year and I think we both sounded really sappy at parts but it didn't matter cause we totally GOT what the other person was saying. Like about last year and mainly last year's lunch. I won't type everything out again, but I just miss it. So much. It was something to always look forward to, always cheer me up, best part of my day. Now lunch is just a motion I go through, there's not really any 'joy' in it, which sounds odd, but it's true. I took it for granted, and now it's gone. But it's making me think about DK in a way...he's leaving. I only have this year with him. I don't want him to leave and then me say, "Oh wow...what we had was really great and now it's gone..." I don't wanna take anything with him for granted. Not the 6 hour days with him, or the short 10 minute conversations at the bus circle. I have him NOW, and NOW is what I need to enjoy.
Sidenote: I always had another totally random realization today. People (in high school) expect the good-looking/pretty/handsome kids to have a boyfriend/girlfriend. Just think about it for a minute...it's true. You'll meet a cute guy/girl and you instantly wanna get to know them better...why? Cause they look good. And what's one of the first questions you try to indiscreetly bring up? If they have a girlfriend/boyfriend. But then I thought about this...jerky cute guys have girlfriends. What would happen if you took away the cuteness? He'd be a jerk. No one likes a jerk. I bet you he wouldn't have a girlfriend. How LAME is that? We'll go out with a guy cause he's CUTE...that's all it takes. And thinking about this I was like WOAH...are we REALLY that shallow? And the answer is...YEAH. Now think of a kid who a lot of people make fun of cause he may be a little weird or a little too smart or maybe not as cute as their other guy friends with their pants on their knees. Keep the same personality...but make him hot. His "a little weird" would be turned into "he's unique, genuine, one of a kind", his "a little too smart" would be turned into "adorable genius". I don't know if this completely makes sense to you...but thinking about it in my head is just so BIZARRE. Flip-flop looks with personalities. We REALLY do judge on looks. It's like a math equation...
Average + Weird=No girlfriend/Not popular
Average + Sweet/Nice=Better chance of girlfriend/Well-known
Hot + Weird=Better chance of girlfriend/Low end of popular
Hot + Sweet/Nice=Girlfriend/Most popular
Yeah, dunno if this is making sense to whoever's reading this, but it makes sense in my head...and it's just bizarre. Just shows how shallow and stupid we really are.
I MAJORALLY DIGRESS.
After the assembly I went to "Government". HAHAHAHHAHAHAHA!!!! We got TRUCKLOADS of homework...like...yeah, can't even describe it.
The bell rang, walked to locker with DK (I thought he forgot me at first... :P), walked out to the bus circle (me and DK realized that my right/his left are a better combination than his right/my left...ahh...funny conversations...I love em ;D), and I REALIZED THAT I WON'T SEE HIM AGAIN UNTIL MONDAY. :''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''( He can't come to practice tonight, or the game tomorrow and then he's in New York...my DK...*sniffle* But he'll be at Bucs, so that makes it semi-more ok. :D
Then I got home and there was this big truck in front of our house and I was like "Huh?" but then I remembered we're getting new windows today!!! And guess what? There's two guys installing the windows...and they're POLISH!! They have the coolest accents and speak Polish to each other, it is SO COOL. I'm lovin' it...bah dum bum bum bummm...... ;D
So moral of the day...don't take things (esecially DK!!) for granted, stop being stupid and shallow, Polish people are really cool, and you should always eat your green beans (???). ;D

"That's my BOYFRIEND. He's MINE. So HAH!"
So anyway...I never posted about Bucs! And right now I'm waiting for DK to come over and I don't feel like doing any more work today...so I figured now is as good of a time as any.
Ok, Saturday.
So first we had to go pick up JWaz and then go to DK's house ("Old School" is on now). Haha, we got to the Waz's house and I go up to the door and knock and a little boy answers and he just LOOKS at me and I'm like, "Is Jonathon here?" and he goes, "Yeah...JONATHON! There's a GIRL here for you!!!" it was HYSTERICAL. ;D
After we got dropped off and all of us piled into the van and we were off! Me, Andrew (DK's little brother, he's a freshman), and JWaz (freshman too) all talked about high school and what it's like and different classes and finding your way around and what all the teachers are like and general stuff like that. It was actually a pretty good conversation. I found out that Andrew can actually talk. ;D Once you get him going, he just GOES (like DK...haha!). Turns out he's nervous about high school...so I tried my best to reassure him it isn't that bad. It was HILARIOUS cause talking to Andrew ("It's Gonna Be Love"...I'll just update when it's a new song) I noticed SO many similarities between him and DK when they talk. Just their general mannerisms. How they phrase certain things. How, if they don't have an answer, they kinda pause, breathe in slowly, sway back and forth (or turn their head to the side if they're sitting down), and just give a general answer, like, "Yeah...well..." or "Whatever". Very funny. :]
Haha! When we were getting closer to the stadium DK was texting me, asking how close we were and all that ("Must Have Done Something Right") and so I was telling everyone in the van what he was saying and all that, and then randomly I asked, "Does anyone have chapstick?" and DK's mom said something like, "We're five minutes away from him, there's no way we can get chapstick to him right now" and I'm like, "Uh...no...the chapstick was for ME." It was great. ;D
Once we got there we parked (the parking helper people duder thingeys were VERY good, all smiles, those peeps NEVER smile, I was impressed ;D), and then got into the stadium and found our seats. We sat on Side One, three seats from the top, on the 35. They were GREAT seats. I LOVED them. So we sit and I get another text, this one from Jake, and I look and see he's coming up the steps to come sit with us. It was cool to get to see him, JWaz wasn't too happy though, THAT was funny. He was like, "We've already seen Jake like THREE TIMES at Band Camp...we have to see him AGAIN???" ("The Jazz Police")
Then DK came up and sat with us!!!! I was happy I got to see him before the show, even though he hadn't SHOWERED!!! ;D
So he sat with us for like 30 minutes or something like that and we're all sitting there waiting for the competition to start and ALL OF A SUDDEN, this voice comes over the loud speaker, "Due to the weather, we are asking everyone to please get out of their seats and move to the parking area under the building directly to our left closest to the stadium. Thank you."
I was like GAH. WE HAVE THE BEST SEATS. I DON'T WANT TO MOVE. But we had to...so EVERYONE in the stadium got up and either went to their car or the garage place. Jake and JWaz went to Jake's car to get Jake's jacket (it was getting cold) and then the plan was that they would run back up to our seats once it stopped raining to reserve them for everyone else.
So for like half an hour...I stood in the center of this parking lot thingy under a bowling alley I think it was? Yeah...did absolutely nothing. Just stood there...DK called once but I could barely here him cause apparently he was in a car with some of the other Bucs guys and they were having a good time and messing around with high notes and stuff. But I met this guy named Eddie via speaker phone. :P
The rain let up around 7:29 (show was supposed to start at 7), and so we walked back up to the stadium and got our same seats. YESSSSS.
Some more of the helper dudes were handing out paper towels so we could wipe down the stands (it was REALLY REALLY WET) but they didn't help at all...so I was like, whatever, I'll have a wet butt, I'll live. Jake tried to wipe it off with his jacket, but it didn't really help anything.
And then...GUESS WHAT. IT STARTED RAINING AGAIN. And not just like a drizzle...it RAINED. HARD. So ALL AROUND ME I see people whip out their umbrellas and jackets and just...LOTS OF WATER PROOF STUFF. And I'm just sitting there with NOTHING. I'm in shorts and a T-shirt...and it's pouring...so Jake picked up his already soaking sweatshirt and held it over his head and me, him, and JWaz tried to fit under it but it didn't really work, so I just gave up and sat in the rain.
Haha! There was a funny moment though...me and Jake were just talking about really random things and those silly Facebook quiz thingies came up ("Showpiece") and we were talking about those ones where it's like, "If you were in a zombie movie, would you die first?" that stuff. And he's like, "Yeah...you'd die first Rachel...sorry." and sitting right in front of us were these two elderly ELDERLY men and one of them mumbled to the other, "I'M gonna kill them before the zombie does if they don't SHUT UP." I DIED. It was great. ;D
The show finally started, and an alumni group went first (just standing, they don't march) and they were fun, not the cleanest but it was enjoyable.
Then the first competition group...Shenadoah something or other...they STANK ("Nothing Left To Show"). It was painful to watch. OUR marching band was better than them at our first show last year...North Penn...*shudder*
The corps that followed were ok...but I was LITERALLY shaking the entire time. Naked chicken bumps galore...
During the intermission ("Chasing Cars"), me, JWaz, and Jake walked out to his truck, got in, and CRANKED up the heat! We were ALL freezing. We sat in there for about 30 minutes (we missed one of the corps...) and then walked back to the stadium, got some food (I saw my AP teacher from last year!!!!!!!! BEST TEACHER EVA. Well...him and Mr. Murphy), and then went back to our seats.
The corp that went on before the Bucs was pretty good, I really enjoyed their music and they had some great visual stuff too. They also had this one guard guy who was just...AMAZING. I noticed him earlier on in the show, and pretty much the rest of the time I just watched him. I mean, he could be doing the same thing as everybody else but it just looked so much BETTER. And he didn't drop at ALL during the show. AMAZING.
Haha, after that corp finished someone behind us said, "The Bucs are gonna have competition tonight" and I just LAUGHED.
Then the Bucs came to the field...I love those uniforms. Oh man...so good... ("Never Again")
The whole time they were setting up and all that good stuff we were trying to find DK. It was SO funny. We were like, "There he is!" and I'd be like, "Jake...that person's carrying a TRUMPET."/"...oh."
Then we found him by the 15!!! And yes, we screamed his name. :] :] :]
I had told myself I would follow him through the show, but once it started my eyes went EVERYWHERE. The pit, the guard, the tubas, the...EVERYTHING. It was just AMAZING. There needs to be a better word to describe how BEYAWESOM it was...beyawesom doesn't even cover it...BUCAWESOM? I dunno...I'll have to work on that...
But it was just so good...I LOVED it. And then at one point ("Tight") I found DK and followed him for a little while, but then I lost him!!!!!!!! :(
It was the COOLEST feeling though, watching it and knowing that he was there, he was a part of it. It's funny...cause he talks about it ALL THE TIME. But after seeing it, it was like, well DUHHHHHHHHHH. I was SO proud of him, and I dunno how to describe it...but it's like you watch something that's totally amazing and you're just blown away and then you think about how HE'S down there and he's worked on this for SO LONG. Me saying I was proud of him doesn't even begin to cover it. It was like, "Oh yeah, you BETTER believe I know someone in Bucs. And guess what? You see that amazing marcher down there? Yeah? That's my BOYFRIEND. He's MINE. So HAH!!!" kinda like that...except MORE. I LOVED it, it was just amazing...
The ride home was fun ("Sadie Hawkins Dance") but DK was EXHAUSTED. It was funny...he'd tell me something and then two minutes later he'd tell me the SAME THING. He didn't even realize he was doing it! So the rest of the night was good, but seeing the show was the best part by FAR.
