Yes, catchup. Not as in ketchup or catsup (why is it even called CATSUP? If you put a space between the words it sounds gangsta or something like that, "Cat...sup!" Ok, who in the world is Cat??? I for one would like to know. And then if you put the space AFTER the 'S' it sounds like, "Cats...up." And that makes even LESS sense cause it sounds like the cats are up for something...like they're up to bat? And who has ever heard of a cat up to bat? NO ONE!!! Or it sounds like some sort of ninja commanding their ninja cats to jump up on a roof or something...goodness, stupid catsup). Catchup as in CATCHUP on all that I haven't been writing about.
Ok...well, to start, did I EVER write about HERSHEY???? Me thinks no...which is incredibly uber depressing. Ok, quick sum up of Hershey: it was beyawesom. Wind Ensemble did pretty good, bus rides were incredibly fun, it was HYSTERICAL to see Maria's reaction to changing on the bus---she's an exchange student so when all the girls got back on the bus and just started taking their clothes off she had a mini heart attack. Coasters were great (not as good as Six Flags though), running around the park was AMAZING (no one could keep up with me and DK, we were SPEED DEMONS!!!!!), food was good, bus ride home was even better. ;D
Well I just condensed what would have been a 1.84 mile long post into a paragraph. A+ for the girl who thought fishing involved straw hats, overalls (one side broken of course), and flannel shirts.
Let's see...what else am I missing...uh...OH. CONVENTION. Uh-oh...dunno if the amazingly short human can condense this one...
Ok, it was...to infinite and beyond beyawesom. There you go. That covers the entire week. Yup. Monday was waking up at 2 in the morning to get to church at 3:30, then amazing bus ride (I am just the luckiest person alive, the most amazing people in the world decide to hang around with little ol me, emphasis on the LITTLE), then CEDAR POINT. AHHH. No adults...no NOTHING. Just my group of homies (me, Kassandra, Julianne, Selene, and Anna) and the coasters. I fell in love more than once that day, those coasters whoop serious butt.
Then Tuesday was the 1 1/2 hour long epic game of Uno. Me, Ryan, Jason, Jordan, Nate, and Danielo (COOLEST NAME, he's our intern) played some of the BEST Uno I have ever seen in my life. And I've seen a lot of good Uno. Trust me.
The week was just....EEEEE!!!! (that's my uber uber uber excited noise sound)
Worship twice a day, great meals, amazing friends, awesom times, fantastic volleyball games (I got quite good at that Matrix backbend, let me tell ya), goofy pictures, and insane ab workouts in the middle of the convention center where everyone walking past thinks we're complete lunatics...which we are.
Great times at the hotel too, I met a Canadian! His name was Jordan, and was pretty good at playing guitar. We (me, Ryan, Julianne, and Selene) met him the first night when we were playing Cud (LOVE THAT GAME) in the conference room. He became instantly infatuated with Julianne and followed her around like a puppy the rest of the week. It was A-DOR-A-BLE.
One of the best weeks of my life.
And get this...one of the PASTORS, at a MENNONITE CONVENTION, taught an entire stadium how to do the Booty-X. It is this AWESOM dance move. Basically, you just move your hips in the shape of an X. Ask me to show you sometime...it's so much fun!
That wasn't quite a mile...was it? Few paragraphs...I'm pretty proud of myself.
Oh! HAHA! My vacation! I should probably right about that, huh? Well it was pretty good. Didn't really feel like a vacation though, cause the place we went you had to pay BIG BUCKS to do anything so we just stayed in the house most of the time and played bunches of games. But we got to go mini-golfing twice and got to go on this mountain coaster twice, which was pretty awesom. And then we went in the lake, and it was FREEZING.
I have tons of pictures up on Facebook. I think everyone who reads this has a Facebook, oy? Ok, well, go check em out.
Especially the elephant ones. ;D
