Apologies

So I have three apologies to make right now...

  1. My dearest blog...a thousand apologies from the bottom of my heart...it was not my plan that you become almost nonexistent, things just haven't worked out between us...I know that hurts to hear and trust me, I will be trying my hardest to make this relationship between us work a little better in the near future...if you're willing to put in the time and the effort, then so am I. I'm so sorry...
  2. My dearest homework...YEAH. You know...I really do have to apologize cause you have been very much ignored that past week or so but I'm not feeling all too bad...I don't like you, we've never gotten along...and to be completely honest, you're just a pain in my petuty. So yeah, I owe you an apology...but whatever.
  3. My dearest grassy hill...I am SO sorry I rammed into you...it was an accident I promise!!! It was my first time driving and I was so nervous and I had no idea how to turn the car and so I kinda hit you...please forgive me? I don't even know you and I feel terrible...sorry. :(

Wondrous quotes from "The Shack"

Life takes a bit of time and a lot of relationship.

Each relationship between two persons is absolutely unique. That is why you cannot love two people the same. It simply is not possible. You love each person differently because of who they are and the uniqueness that they draw out of you.

Don't ever discount the wonder of your tears. They can be healing waters and a stream of joy. Sometimes they are the best words the heart can speak.

Trust is the fruit of a relationship in which you know you are loved.

Pain has a way of clipping our wings and keeping us from being able to fly.

...if anything matters then everything matters. Because you are important, everything you do is important. Every time you forgive, the universe changes; every time you reach out and touch a heart or a life, the world changes; with every kindness and service, seen or unseen, my purposes are accomplished and nothing will be the same again.

Sometimes honesty can be incredibly messy.

"Does that mean," asked Mack, "that all roads will lead to you?" "Not at all," smiled Jesus..."Most roads don't lead anywhere. What it does mean is that I will travel any road to find you."

I suppose that since most of our hurts come through relationships so will our healing.

Submission is not about authority and it is not obedience; it is all about relationships of love and respect.

True love never forces.

"Jesus?" he whispered as his voice choked "I feel so lost" A hand reached out and squeezed his, and didn't let go. "I know Mack. But it's not true. I am with you and I'm not lost. I'm sorry it feels that way, but hear me clearly. You are not lost."

Funny story that happened awhile ago but I'm just getting around to posting it now...

When we were driving home from seeing my grandma in New York, we stopped at a Rest Stop for a bathroom break. I was at the sink in the bathroom washing my hands and there was this lady next to me who couldn't get her faucet to work...so I looked over at her and said, "You should tap that" and she goes, "Excuse me?!?!?!" and I say, "You need to tap the faucet to make it work" and she's like "Oh...thanks..."

It was when I walked out of the bathroom that I realized why she replied the way she did... :P

Please Pray

Anyone reading this right now, could you please pray for my mom? First off she's dealing with a whole bunch of stuff...her classroom, grad class, us kids, her mom, other family stuff...it's just insane. And on TOP of all that...we just found out she has MRSA.

We gotta like clean our ENTIRE house...no one can sit where she's sat recently...we can't sit on our kitchen bench, on one of the kitchen chairs, at the computer chair (I'm sitting there but it's covered with a towel, that's the thing, we can sit there but it has to be totally covered), on the couch, on her bed, on the chairs by the pool, NOWHERE. It's insane...and like we have to change the soap in the shower and just clean so much STUFF.

So yeah...please pray.

Quite

I am QUITE behind on my Summer Work Schedule...Friday work didn't get all done cause of Lydia's, Saturday I got home and was sick so NONE of Saturday's got done, and Sunday I only got to do some reading, and now it's Monday and I feel lazy and overwhelmed so I've just been making excuses...haha. I'm gonna finish my book today, I know that, but the journal is gonna be post-poned...along with a bunch of other stuff...UGH. I was supposed to be starting my new book today!!! Oh well...I'll catch up. I WILL stay on top of all this work...I just need a break today, hehe. :]

So instead of doing work, I've been cruising the internet---looking for articles on ways to style hair for summer, browsing clothes online for fun, playing games, and now I'm reading random articles about random things...quite fun.

AWESOMEST

Last night was ABSOLUTELY amazing for two reasons:
  1. I was at Lydia's house and we had the AWESOMEST (I think I just made that word up?) conversations. Like we had some fun talks, some serious, some deep, and some just plain awesome. It was great. :D
  2. I slept with Orlando Bloom!!! He was on top of me the entire night...*sigh of happiness* HAHAHAHA!!!! Lydia has a blanket with Legolas on it and that was the blanket I used. When she gave it to me we joked about how I was sleeping with Legolas/Orlando Bloom and it was HYSTERICAL! Just had to share. :]
