I. DON'T. KNOW.

Sometimes I'm happy.
Sometimes I'm not.
Tonight I wasn't.

Sometimes I'm PMSing.
Sometimes I'm not.
Tonight I was.

Absolutely horrible. HORRIBLE. I don't even know what's wrong with me. I had NO RIGHT to be upset. Maybe I can come up with a little itsy bitsy reason to make me feel better and not so terrible about what I put my mom through...but no. Really no reason.

I just couldn't do it. I walked in, and I couldn't be there. I couldn't be around them. I ran straight up to my room, cried for a bit. Got myself together and realized I had to do this, went back downstairs, sat on the couch and watched the football game for a total of 30 seconds, and then ran back upstairs, sobbed, then read my book for a good two hours before I was calm enough to go back downstairs and finish my homework.

What a MESS.

And what frustrated me even more? I can't even explain why I was so upset. It was just like BAM...just hit me. Why was I mad? I don't know. Why couldn't I be there? I don't know. Why was I crying? I. DON'T. KNOW.

I HATE not knowing...

And everyone was all concerned about me even though that doens't make sense cause I was the one being a jerk. UGH!

But I couldn't do it.

I tried.

It didn't work.

"Lucky I'm in love with my best friend..."

So last night I had dinner at David's house (NOT meatloaf... ;D) and afterwards we headed out to go on a little mini date. Not wanting to spend too much money, David took me to...THE LIBRARY. I dunno if you think that's awesome or just boring but let me tell you...I LOVED it!

We browsed the books together, looked up book titles, talked about books in general, and just kinda strolled along at our own pace. There was one point when David was reaching up to get a book he was interested in and I just looked at him and thought...how COOL is this??? How many guys would HONESTLY take their girlfriends to the library and be excited about it? How many of them would be able to make it a fun experience? How many would browse through the books and get really excited about what they're gonna read or what they're trying to find?

I LOVE that he's so into books and that he was able to make our little trip to the library so much fun.

Probably like 91.63% (random number...haha) of the couples out there would think that going to the library as a date or a way to spend time together is really really dumb...but DANG are they missing out. ;D

Voyage of Accepting Yourself

Last Wednesday during the break I got to see the Voyage of the Dawn Treader with some friends when I was at a sleepover. Overall, the movie was pretty good (though I liked the first two better), but one scene has really stuck with me.

Throughout most of the movie, Lucy wishes that she looked like Susan because she thinks that she's prettier than her. At one point, she finds a magic spellbook and her wish comes true. She wishes to be beautiful and to look like Susan...but instead of simply LOOKING like her, Lucy BECOMES Susan. There's a scene where Lucy (who looks like Susan) is with Peter and Edmund and she's asking about herself but they have no idea who Lucy is. She freaks out until Aslan comes and pulls her out of the messed up fantasy.

Lucy can't understand why she disappeared, and Aslan tells her that when you wish to be someone else, you are actually wishing yourself away.

You're wishing away the you God intended and purposefully made.

I had never thought of it that way and it really impacted me...haha, I'm still thinking about it!
