English Literature Humor

I have been truckin' on homework all day...I figured I deserved an English-related break. And I found this awesomeness. :)

Classic Novels in 33 Words or Less
  1. "The Catcher in the Rye": Emo traveler's guide to NYC.
  2. "A Farewell to Arms": Don't knock up a nurse in a world war.
  3. "The Grapes of Wrath": You'll eat anything when starving, even a stranger's breast milk.
  4. "The Great Gatsby": Don't trust your wife's ex-boyfriend if his first name is "The Great."
  5. "To Kill a Mockingbird": No mockingbirds are killed. African-Americans are.
  6. "Oedipus": Classic boy meets father, boy kills father, boy bangs mother, boy blinds himself love story.
  7. "The Outsiders": Bet on the poor kids in any rumble.
  8. "Romeo and Juliet": Don't overreact when your girlfriend dies.
  9. "The Scarlet Letter": Ho's gonna ho. Haters gonna hate.
  10. "Brave New World": Everyone gets stoned, everyone gets laid, Alphas rule the world, Epsilons clean the toilets, but The Savage just wanted to be left alone.

You know how when people are tired, they write "Zzzzzz"? Well that doesn't make any sense...cause right now I'm exhausted and the effort in hitting the right key over and over is just too hard...so the typage for tired should be something like "gtuihnir".......that's my head falling onto the keyboard...
