It is time!

That's me from last year! :)

Yupp! Indoor Percussion season has officially started! Well, it 'officially' started last Tuesday, but tonight we were assigned our drums! I'm Bass 2, which I'm EXTREMELY excited about! Bass 1 and 2 are the most challenging drums in terms of notes and music and splitting, so that'll be awesome. And I love the girl who's playing Bass 1 (Joelle) so we'll rock it out together. :)

Run-down of the Bassline:

1. Joelle (sophomore, marched trumpet in marching band for two years)
2. Me!
3. Pat (my alto sax in training...a freshmen who did marching band)
4. Ryan (tenor sax freshmen who did marching band)
5. Quinton (mello freshmen who did marching band)

So it's a pretty good line up...it's funny though, I'm the only semi-experienced person on the line. None of them have ever marched indoor before, so it'll be interesting...but I know what I'm doing and there's a bunch of people in other sections who love to help so everything will turn out fine.

Sidenote: The title of my post is a quote from a movie...wonder who can guess it. :)
