LONG day...

Today was long...it just seemed to drag a lot, but there were some highlights:
  • Watched a movie in German.
  • Someone sneezed IN TIME today in band. It was hiLARIOUS.
  • Got a quiz back in math, did really well on it.
  • Lunch was fun (me and Cara had a laughing fit over DK...he made the FUNNIEST face!).
  • Gym was HYSTERICAL. We went outside and just walked around the edge of the track. Some people had to make up the mile, but I already did it, and I wasn't about to do it again! So I walked with a bunch of my friends. Somehow we got on the topic of power walking and how it's supposedly an Olympic sport...it was HILARIOUS. We had power walking competitions to see who was the fastest and Danielle won! Me and Colleen wanna make her a shirt that says, "Future Power Walking Olympian". ;D Haha, so I looked it up...and it's real...kinda freaky...http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2urNVmKnEaQ&feature=related
  • Got a study hall in Comparative Government (our sub was my old track coach, LOVE her!), got science homework done, and had the FUNNIEST conversations with people....well, more like I listened to the funny conversations while doing homework. :P Alexa was...well, ok, it's inappropriate but it was funny...let's just say...PINKY (Cara you will know what I'm talking about). ;D Good times...

So it was a pretty good day even though it was kinda long.

So DK's going through another one of his "not happy with anything/always in a weird mood/won't talk to anyone about it" phases. It makes me upset...and honestly, I get annoyed. I WANT him to be happy! And he's not! I mean...I guess it's not his fault, but...partially it is. He was the one who always said you could consciously decide to change your actions or how you feel about something.

He contradicts himself a lot...and he doesn't take his own advice. Whenever I get really upset about something, he'll be there and make (ok, wrong word, but he always gets it out of me) me talk to him about him. He says it's not good to keep things inside, it'll just make me more upset...WELL...*cough cough* *nudge nudge*

Hmmm...you know what I also find funny? That he likes to know everything...not necessarily in a bad way, I mean, I'm the same way too, I can't stand not knowing what someone's talking about. But...it's just that sometimes if I'm not telling him something (like me and Cara are laughing at something he said and he wants to know why), he'll either take something of mine (like food) and won't give it back until I tell him, or he'll just say, "Ok, well, you'll tell me later". I don't like that...I mean, yeah I'll probably tell him later, but I want to be the one who decides if I'm gonna tell him or not, you know?

And there's another thing! He likes to know what's going on, he likes to know what we're talking about or if I'm upset or anything. And he'll get upset if I don't tell him, it bothers him. BUT---I guess the rule doesn't apply to him. He wants ME to be open and honest and share everything with him, but is he willing to share about something that's bothering him? Hmm...NO.

So then it's like...what do you do??? Do you bring it up at school and make him get even more upset? Or do you just ignore it which then makes him think that you don't care and he gets upset about that??

It just...UGH.

  1. hey! i know another guy like that.......
and, um, i guess i'm like that...BUT THAT'S BESIDES THE POINT! actually, i have thoughts on why it's such a double standard, cause it really is for almost everyone. and especially why it is for me.
