We went to Josh and Sanya's and my little neighbor's elementary school! We warmed up in the gym (it was LOUD, I liked it :D), then listened to West warm up. They were ok. I thought they were better than East, but still...they could have used a MAJOR tuner... *shudder*
They also had this HUGE clarient ensemble! I know some of the players, they're actually pretty good, but with like TEN of them all together? NO WAY you can keep that many in tune and have no squeaks/squawks.
OMWORD TROLLEY MADE ME SO HAPPY!!! HE F I N A L L Y AGREED TO DO MARCHING BAND!!!!!!! Me and Amy have been bugging him about it for like...THE ENTIRE YEAR. And he FINALLY said he'd do it!!! I am SOOOOO happy!!!!!!!!!!!!! MB this year is gonna be AMAZING. We already recruited some people from East, recruited one more today (HE'S A BARI SAX PLAYER! I LOVE HIM!!!), and recruited Trolley!!! AHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! So so SO so so so SOO so so so SOOO soo SOOOOOOOO excited!
Haha! West was so much fun! I saw Jake (neighbor) so that was fun, and Margie, Anna, Peter, Josh, and lots of other little people. I also saw Tyler---my "boyfriend". If you don't know that story...man, you're missing out. ;D So that was great. :] That kid smells really good...HAHA! Sidenote: I JUST GOT YOUR TEXT CARA. THAT'S funny!
Today was a very good day. I've had a lot to think about and some stuff that I'm confused on, things I need to figure out, but I am still VERY happy. :]
